Heads up. Just read that Steam will be down for maintenance tomorrow starting at 1800h PST. No downloads, updates, online play, etc. Off-line Steam games will still work though. So no Borderlands co-op tomorrow. :( However, that works out well for me, because I pick up White Knight Chronicles today, so I'll be able to play it tomorrow :)
What will you play without Steam online?
I'm glad they're doing maintenance on Thursday rather than the weekend.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm not playing Borderlands single player I'll probably head on over to my PS3 and try to finish FFXIII. I need to finish so I can write up a review for the game. Borderlands is too much fun right now, even in single player.
What do you guys think about the DLC for Borderlands? Do you think it's worth purchasing down the road? Dr. Ned's zombie island seems cool, but Mad Moxi has received some mixed reviews.
BTW,Lando tell me what you think about WKC. Do you think the battle system will become to repeatitive?
ReplyDeleteA small update: It's possible that Borderlands will still run on-line. The game uses gamespy for the online portion, which I believe isn't connected to steam. Try it out tomorrow and let me know.
ReplyDeleteI am LOVING Borderlands on my PC, even though I just beat it on PS3. Looks so much better, and co-op is incredible. THe few times I've got to play with Kinto are worth the entire price. I can't wait to get a four man team together on the weekend sometime!
