RunMan: Race Around the World is a spastic 2d platformer from Tom Sennett and Matt Thorson. The emphasis on blazing through levels is reminiscent of Sonic the Hedgehog, but more satisfyingly bouncy. With bright, primary colors, and ironic MS Paint-style art design, RunMan is cute and memorable. Gameplay vid after the jump.
I need to get a controller for this game. This looks like crazy fun. Will this be free? It says Oct. 2nd as the release date, is this an old video or do we have to wait until Oct. 2nd of this year?
ReplyDeleteWow. That is CRAZY fast! I wonder if what we saw in that video was expert navigation of the game board, or whether the controls are so good that you can feel that bad ass while playing through without 1000 retries.
